Children are encouraged to be creative and to use their imagination in using a variety of media. Each child will explore colour, texture shape and form and will observe how the world’s great artists have recorded their responses. During their progress through the school children will be introduced to the use of a wide range of tools, materials and techniques in art and craft. Much of this activity takes place in classrooms, though in addition the school has a specialist room for art, which includes a pottery kiln.

We hope all children will have the opportunity of working with a visiting artist while they are at Queen Eleanor.
